1.Never too Stuffed for Stuffing

Ingredients:

  • 2 baguettes, country, or sourdough bread (1 pound)
  • 8 tbsp. butter, plus more for baking dish
  • 1 large onion, diced (about 2 1/4 cups)
  • 4 stalks celery, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c. freshly chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp. freshly chopped sage, minced
  • 1 tbsp. fresh thyme leaves, minced
  • 1/2 tbsp. freshly chopped rosemary
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 c. low-sodium chicken (or vegetable) broth
  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • 3 lb. potatoes (about 4 large, combo of russets and Yukon Golds)

  • 1 stick butter, plus 2 tablespoons for garnish

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 c. whole milk
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp. butter, melted and cooled slightly

  • 1 (10.75 ounces) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (6 ounces) can French fried onions

  • 2 pounds butternut squash, cubed
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • 1 dash ground nutmeg
  • 1 dash ground cloves
  • 1 dash ground cinnamon
